Paul Satur is a keen surfer, nature lover and punk music tragic. These (amongst other things) have led him to a budding career in environmental and social science research, bringing particular expertise to complex socio-institutional and socio-ecological sustainability challenges, through programs, knowledge and partnerships designed to empower people in place for the revitalisation of water environments. Paul is currently a research fellow and lecturer, as part of Monash Sustainable Development Institute’s MSDI Water unit, and the co-founder and director of the Our Future Cities organisation- a not for profit that seeks to broaden the dialogue, empowering young and diverse voices in the shaping of our cities and places. Paul was recently recognised as the Australian 2020 Young Water Professional of the Year.
